How does the automatic Multi-lane packaging machine work?

0

Multi-lane Automatic packaging machines are in high demand across a variety of industries, including hardware, non-food items, food and beverage, medicines, and nutritional supplements. In this article, we will talk about how these machines work.

Multi-lane automatic machines can automatically complete product packaging; measuring, feeding, filling and bag forming, date code printing, sealing, and cutting.

Conveying packaging film

The packaging film is placed on the packaging film mechanism. The position of the packaging film is fixed by the principle of inflation and expansion.

During the packaging process, the packaging film is fed onto a set of rollers. The rollers maintain even pressure on the film to help keep it at constant tension, which keeps the adjustment arm in the correct operating position. And the packaging film is moved through the roller, and the color mark sensor will automatically track and identify the color mark on the packaging film to ensure that the packaging pattern is complete when making bags later.

Optional print content

If you choose to print the production date or production lot number, the printer will run and print the appropriate content on the packaging film while it is being delivered.

Film cutting

In the packaging film, the packaging film remains under tension and is passed through with specially designed knives. When the film is pulled through this knife, it is cut into strips according to the number of columns in the multi-column strip packaging machine. The film is cut into individual packs as it is pulled through the knives.

Bag forming

After the film cutting, each multi-column cut film moves through several forming bags (one per lane). Each forming bag has a cut film that is folded around it when it reaches the top. This creates a bag shape with the cut film’s two outer sides overlapping one another. One can arrange the forming bags to fill the materials in them.

Weighing and filling the material into bags

Weighing and filling both happened almost at the same time. After the bag formation, the weigher pump weighed the material, and then the responsibility of a filling apparatus, such as a volumetric cup, liquid pump, or auger filler, to accurately measure and release the precise amounts of product to be dropped into each bag.

Sealing bags

After the material is filled in the bag, the bag is ready for sealing. A healing heat system is used to seal the bags.

Cutting bags

Right after the sealing of the bags the sealed bags are ready to cut into individual bags. The cutter is responsible for cutting the bags.

Conveying bags

After the bags are cut separately now bags are dropped into the outfeed chute. The dropping of the bags either onto an finished product conveyor or directly into a receptacle.

The completed bags can be sent to back-end equipment, such as check weighers, empty bag detection and rejection devices, case packers, cartoners, and other equipment.
